She/her/hers
I am a nationally certified counselor, licensed therapist, and certified coach who provides mental health therapy to WSU students. As the acting Outreach Coordinator, I create and support relationship-building with WSU departments, clubs, and groups.
My approach to mental health and well-being involves a micro, mezzo, and macro lens that integrates neuroscience, somatic psychotherapy, existential psychology, and energy psychology. As a trauma-informed clinician, compassion, warmth, and accountability are ways I invite students to trust themselves, make wise decisions, and remember their worth.
University of Idaho graduate with an EdS and MEd, I have been a practicing clinician since 2011. I have worked in inpatient mental health, private and community practice, and veterinary medicine. I have received additional trainings and certifications in somatic psychology, energy psychology, neuroscience, eating psychology, and integrative mental health practices. I continue to decolonize my approach to health and credit many of my PhD classes toward a deeper understanding of my blind spots. Because of my love of learning, I return to higher education over and over. I very much enjoy working with students.
My loves include Milo (border collie/lab), Mia (bichon frise/poodle), family time, playing outdoors, live music/concerts/festivals, traveling, and learning.
